Huang Lijie, Artistic Director, Concertmaster, and Conductor of the Asia Philharmonic International Orchestra, is recognized as one of the most outstanding Chinese artists active on today’s international music stage. A renowned violinist, he has been invited to perform across numerous countries and regions around the world.
He has participated in prestigious arts festivals in France, Spain, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Portugal, as well as in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. He has collaborated with legendary maestros such as Seiji Ozawa, Yehudi Menuhin, Isaac Stern, David Oistrakh, Mischa Maisky, and Sarah Brightman.
Over the years, Huang Lijie has worked with musicians from top orchestras in Russia, the UK, France, Germany, the US, Switzerland, Singapore, and across China, recording an extensive body of work. His numerous accolades both at home and abroad have established him as a highly respected and innovative figure in the global classical music community.
In recent years, he and his Asia Philharmonic Orchestra have successfully held concerts domestically and internationally, earning honors such as the Russian Government Award and several national music prizes.
He has composed and recorded music for nearly a hundred albums, films, and TV productions, receiving major awards including the Golden Lion, Golden Bell, Golden Deer, and Golden Rooster. As an accomplished performer and music producer, Huang has gained wide recognition in the global music industry and contributed significantly to bringing Chinese traditional music onto the world stage.
Huang Lijie, born in Beijing and originally from Dongguan, Guangdong, is of Han ethnicity. He studied violin under Professor Lin Yaoki, and has represented China at numerous international music festivals in Spain, France, Japan, Malaysia, and South Korea.
