The youngest son of legendary Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, Enrique moved to Miami, USA, at age eight, where he developed a passion for music. Initially keeping his ambitions secret from his family, he began writing songs as a teenager and signed with Fonovisa Records under the pseudonym Enrique Martinez to avoid relying on his father’s fame.

His self-titled debut album, Enrique Iglesias (1995), was a massive success, selling over six million copies worldwide and earning a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Performance. Blending pop, ballads, and Latin rhythms, hits like “Si Tú Te Vas” showcased his emotive voice and charisma. He transitioned to mainstream pop with Vivir (1997) and Cosas del Amor (1998), solidifying his Latin American fanbase. His English-language crossover album, Enrique (1999), featuring the chart-topping “Bailamos,” propelled him to international stardom.

Throughout the 2000s, Iglesias dominated charts with albums like Escape (2001), including hits “Hero” and “Escape,” and Euphoria (2010), which blended Latin and electronic pop. Known for sensual performances and romantic ballads, he collaborated with artists like Pitbull, Wisin, and Lionel Richie.
