The Morin Khuur (Matouqin), also known as the horsehead fiddle, is a traditional Mongolian bowed stringed instrument. It is one of the most crucial musical instruments for the Mongol people, symbolizing the nation of Mongolia. Recognized by UNESCO as one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, the morin khuur holds immense cultural significance.
