Hong Kong Pure Strings (香港纯弦) is a dynamic strings group founded in 2004 by Leung Kin-fung and Danny Wong. The ensemble is dedicated to breaking musical boundaries by combining classical and contemporary music in a distinctive and innovative manner.

Leung serves as the Artistic Director of this ensemble, which comprises top string musicians from around the world. HKPS held its successful premiere concert at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on June 13, 2005. The group's philosophy is characterized by its openness to various styles and genres. Under Leung Kin Fung's leadership, HKPS aims to blend classical and contemporary music, delivering extraordinary musical experiences to its audiences.

In 2007, Hong Kong Pure Strings achieved acclaim with the release of its first CD, "Popsinera," receiving favorable reviews. The album was honored with awards such as "The 10 Hottest CD of the year 2008" and "The Best Light Music Album of the year 2008" by Canton Radio in China. Building on this success, the group released its second album, "Surprise-Happy Birthday," in 2009, earning recognition as "The Best Top 10 CD of the year 2009."
