Tianyi Records spent three years meticulously preparing what is hailed as “the most magnificent masterpiece” in the history of Chinese instrumental music. With a top-tier production team and symphony-like arrangements, this album pushes the auditory boundaries of traditional Chinese music. Drawing inspiration from the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra’s modernization of traditional instruments, it features lavish multi-voiced performances, dazzling instrumental virtuosity, and specially enhanced low frequencies, giving traditional instruments the dynamic layers of a full symphony orchestra.

By addressing the high pitch range of many traditional instruments and incorporating rich harmonies and precise counterpoint, the album blends classical structure with contemporary flair. Recorded using the German-made AKGC12, one of the most legendary vacuum tube microphones, the result is a stunning, room-filling sonic experience.
